When we started Taylored Propman Limited two years ago, we knew we were up against the big agencies with their flashy branding and corporate budgets. But we also knew something they didn’t: what landlords really need is trust, not just transactions. That’s why we set out to create a property management company that wasn’t just another static carbon copy operation. We wanted to build something bespoke—something that truly served landlords, whether they owned a single property or a larger portfolio.
To be honest, the start wasn’t easy as with any new company in a crowded sector. We were asking landlords to trust a brand-new company, one that was not part of a big corporate name. And in this industry, trust is everything. Some landlords hesitated, wondering if we’d even last six months. But here’s where the struggle turned into success.
Steve brought over 30+ years of construction and property management expertise and experience to the table, and Cheryl added her 20+ years of expertise in public sector office management and customer service. Together, we had the skills to not only manage properties but to build relationships. We focused on what mattered most: trust, communication, and delivering a service that was as flexible as it was reliable. We didn’t just manage properties, we managed expectations, fears, hopes and always maintained that personable hands-on approach.
Fast forward two years, and we’ve gone from managing a handful of properties to overseeing homes for over 120 tenants.
